Rihanna indicada a três Soul Train 2011 Awards
Rihanna foi indicada aos Soul Train Awards 2011 nas categorias Melhor Performance Caribenha por “Man Down”, Melhor Canção de Hip-Hop do Ano por “All of the Lights” com Kanye West e Melhor Performance com Dança por “Only Girl (in the World)” e “What’s My Name”.
Este ano, a cerimónia irá acontecer em Atlanta, dia 17 de novembro, mas apenas irá ao ar dia 27 de novembro.
Celebrando os 40 anos da marca Soul Train, a premiação deste ano está a prometer ser um dos maiores eventos de 2011. Apresentado pelo ator e comediante Cedric the Entertainer, a gala irá homenagiar Gladys Knight and Earth, Wind & Fire, com o prémio Ledend Award pelas suas contribuições à música mundial.
Novas categorias foram incluídas, como Melhores Álbuns de Jazz Tradicional e Contemporâneo. Estas duas categorias serão escolhidas pelo público e os vencedores serão determinados por votação online.
